We had a great time again this weekend. While this was actually a two day show, we only showed on the first day. This was a very long show day - 12+ hours of showing (and waiting). Everyone did well and had a great time.
Present for this show were Bekah riding Dejia, Jenna riding Coolio, Amanda riding Storm, Colin riding Storm and Natalie riding Storm! Storm was one busy horse!
Up first, Rebekah and Dejia. Once again this team excelled, bringing home 2 firsts, 2 seconds, 2 thirds and a 5th. The show went smoothly for these two and they had a great time. Bekah has worked hard with Dejia and it shows as they make riding look easy.
Jenna and Coolio entered their first Fitting and Showing class of the season and earned a 2nd place! Jenna was nervous going into this class and was heard muttering something like "I hate showmanship!" Despite her reluctance, they did great! The day continued to be a success as they placed in all of their classes.
Colin is a active guy, and was only able to show in the afternoon due to a conflict with his baseball schedule. Lucky for him the show went slowly so he was able to make it to he fairgrounds in time for his Western and Speed classes with all of his placings being 1st through 3rd.
This week, Colin was only able to show the second half the show and Amanda was only able to come for the first half of the show. Because of this, Amanda left Glory at home and tried her hand at showing Storm. Amanda used Storm for Fitting & Showing, English Equitation and English Pleasure and placed in every class. They did GREAT! Storm is extremely responsive to cues so Amanda had a good time riding him.
Joining us this week was Natalie Musgrove. Natalie uses Storm for the Oxford High School Equestrian Team and entered the Saddleseat classes, and Speed classes. She looked great and placed in both Saddleseat classes, as well as Keyhole. Go Nat!Megan Ward was not with us this weekend as she was busy with the Destination Imagination Worldwide Competition! Congratulations to Megan for her team making it all the way to the worldwide competition! To learn more about Destination Imagination click on this link...

Frawgbyte Photography was also present at the show again this week and I managed to get a shot of John - the man behind the camera. Look for photos of the rest of FrawgByte in the months to come! They take such amazing shots! Please check them out by clicking on the frog below. Their prices are great and you will not be disappointed with their shots!
